A chip off the old block......

Just like her daddy when he was a kid, Brielle likes climbing into and onto everything she can find. On the coffee table, under the crib, into the cupboards...... First she'll carefully remove everything from the place she's trying to squeeze into or climb onto and then she'll proceed to put herself in the desired spot. It's pretty funny to watch.

Just like Daddy! Brielle was thrilled to get in the baby back pack after such a long time (a.k.a. winter!) Afterwards she put her dolly in and tried to get it on her back, but she was too short!

Hot Chocolate!

Russell gave Brielle hot chocolate for the first time, and she (of course) loved it. She wouldn't let go of her sippy cup for anything, just hugged it to her and carried it with her everywhere she went. She DID try to share some with her baby doll, though. After a few drops had spilled onto the doll's face she decided that was good and went back to drinking it herself.

Easter Egg Hunt

MSU had an Easter egg hunt the week before Easter for all of the Family Housing kids. Brielle wasn't sure what to think of the Easter Bunny! She wanted to see him, so she would creep up to stare at him, but as soon as he moved or held out his hand she'd run right back.


Brielle found that she did NOT fit in the basket very well!

Brielle was amazed that there was stuff INSIDE the eggs. We have a bunch of Easter eggs that we bought back in the beginning of March and she's been practicing hunting for them for weeks, but there's never been candy inside before!! Later on Easter when she had an egg hunt with her Streadbeck cousins, we couldn't get her to pick up eggs, because she just wanted to pick up ONE egg, sit down, crack it open and work on the inside. The idea of gathering all of the eggs first before opening them to see the candy didn't seem like a good one to her.
