The Month of May (part 2)

 Russell built us a sandbox!!

Just add kids, toys and 1500 pounds of sands.  Literally, and actually, 1500 pounds!!

One night we went camping at Cascade Park with Spencer and Roma.  Sammy and I just stayed until bedtime, and we drove home at 11:00 pm.  I wasn't quite ready to try tent camping with my baby.  We took him cabin camping at 3 months, and it was a bit much.

Sam thinks he is a puppy.

 I love those chubby arms!!

The week after all the kids spent the night at Cascade Park, Russ went back with Hyrum for our Stake Fathers and Sons campout.  The next morning I drove up with the other 3 kids (and the Muglestons came up) and we played on the swings and the slip and slide.

Sam didn't get to spend the night this year for the Father/Son camp-out, but next year maybe!!!

We had a new litter of bunnies!  These are jersey wooly babies, and there are 7 of them!!  (They are 9 days old in this picture)

The Month of May (part 1)

Our Zoo just finished its new tiger exhibit!!  We have 3 tigers, and it's such a fun exhibit, we have the best zoo ever!!

One week after visiting our new tiger exhibit, we went back to the zoo for Mother's day.  It's one of our favorite places, so we go there often.

All the kids love the carousel at the zoo.

This is how Sammy does the zoo.  Cookies in mouth and hands.

Playing with the bunnies.  Sam thought he'd try some dandelions (if they're good enough for the bunnies....!)

Playing at a new park nearby.

 Feeding breakfast to the dinosaurs.

We bought a new puppy, and these are some pictures from when we went to visit the litter, weeks before we actually got to take ours home.

My favorite path is Centennial Trail in Snohomish.  While walking along there one Sunday evening we saw two beavers munching on grass, so we stopped and watched them for a long while.

Playing bocce ball at the new playground.

Spring Sing at preschool.

Clara's last day of preschool!!

Wallace Falls

My Mom came to visit us for a few days, the first weekend in May.  We went on a gorgeous hike to Wallace Falls.

The next day we went on a pretty walk on a path through some neighborhoods.

And the day after that we went on a walk at Marymoor, which is a large park that has (among other things) an off-leash dog area that is over 40 acres.

More of Sam

Sam LOVES balloons.

Sam and Nephi

Sam and Hickory

Sam learning to cruise (he took the longest to learn to walk)

Sam "helping" with the dishes.  He pushed over a laundry basket to store "his" dishes, and would pull the dishes out of the dishwasher as fast as I could load them in.

 Sammy eating Easter chocolate.

 Poking crabs at the beach.

Sam likes to watch Nephi eat.

Sam also likes to feed Nephi.  However, we discourage this.  : )
