Sammy had a Monster Party for his first birthday, because he's our monster baby!!
The kids helped me make cupcakes, and Russ helped me decorate the cake.
We brought home several smooth stones from the beach, and the kids helped me paint them and draw on faces. I love how our monster rocks turned out!
Sam LOVES balloons, so we filled our living room full of them!
We invited families from our ward that had babies born in 2014 (like Sam was). Of course we like the rest of the families too (not just their babies!). ; )

Sam had a fun party, with lots of great friends!!
Sam is such a fun baby. He loves to laugh and smile. He likes getting the attention of strangers, and then grinning at them and saying "hiiiiii!" Sam loves water, playing in it, swimming in it, splashing it at others and at himself, everything water. He's the only baby I've had that doesn't mind getting his face wet, or having something spray him in the face.
Sam loves animals, and wants to touch any animal he sees, which is fine at dog parks, but difficult at the zoo! Sam loves playing in sand, throwing balls, and wrestling with his siblings. We sure love this little guy!
